5 Creative Ways to Use QR Codes in Real Estate Marketing

What is a QR code?

What is a QR code

A Quick Response code or QR code for short has the ability to create outstanding results within your real estate marketing.  This little piece of digital code can easily be scanned and read with the camera on your smart phone.  With QR codes you can embed anything from a signature to a website, a promotion or even a video.

How to Use QR Codes in Your Business

Have you ever had a lot to say but didn't know where to put it?  Now you do!  Each QR code or image can encode up to 7,000 alphanumeric characters.  That's a lot of words all in one small location!

Creative Ways to Use QR Codes

Offer exclusive content - Think about all of the articles you've written over the years and the fact that your content is much needed information for buyers and sellers.  So why not take your blogs and turn them into free e-books. Use this information to increase Facebook Likes on your Fan page, offer as an email opt-in on your website and tweet about it daily to get your information viral!

Promote Facebook or Twitter - Create a link to a mobile-friendly landing page with a Facebook like button or send them to your Twitter page for more information.

Promote Your Listings - Instantly connect prospects to information about your listings without typing the long URL or texting. Prospects can simply snap a picture of the property QR code with their mobile phone and instantly download or access the online property information.

Get Social - Add contact information to your Website, Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin and other Social Media Sites

Promotional Items & Business Card - Put your QR code on every piece of marketing material you create.  This means flyers, single property website stickers, giveaways such as mugs or t-shirts as well as your business cards.

Thanks for sharing.  I first heard about QR code's in my Realtor magazine.  Since, I've hired a sign company to custom make my QR Code sign rider, which I obviously put on my listing sign.  My seller's were amazed!  I looked smart. lol
